Birmingham-Southern College (BSC) needed to create a student orientation video introducing their Campus Police department. Instead of creating a traditional and potentially boring video, BSC Communications decided to recreate the intro to the popular TV show Brooklyn 99 to highlight the personalities of each officer and engage and entertain new students.

To achieve this goal, raw video of the Campus Police officers was shot and edited, and a motion graphics intro was created using Adobe After Effects. The intro featured dozens of layers and effects to perfectly replicate the Brooklyn 99 intro credits.

The final video was not only used for student orientation, but also shared on social media and utilized by the Campus Police department to engage with students and the wider community.

Overall, the use of motion graphics and a popular TV show intro helped to create a unique and engaging video that introduced the Campus Police to new students in a memorable way.
